But to makeup a time of what you think they will run as compared to what they have is wrong. <br /><br />Saint Francis and Los Gatos know better. <br /><br />Funny, when winning your heat for a tshirt, like at Dublin, these same coaches add time. Just bad taste. <br /><br />On a side note a parent confronted me today and told me if others make up times to get in and I don't I am hurting my athletes. I told him I will only enter season marks and not lie to get in a meet. But, that view is not shared and one reason coaches fib. No other invitational I've ever attended publicizes that they'll redraft accepted entries after voluntary scratches, so I don't appreciate your eye-rolling response.<br /><br /><br />As for coaches fabricating marks, I don't agree with the practice. However, at the Varsity level it is quite easy (though still time consuming) and bogus marks will not be accepted for the Varsity meet.
