Good idea, but why would they put this on three days before CCS finals? I understand that NCS and SJS aren't having sectional championships so great for those kids. But if intended as a NorCal event, wouldn't you move it a week later to allow all NorCal sections to compete?

I was thinking the same thing. I am believe they assume that CCS athletes will get an opportunity to run fast at the CCS Championship meet and if they want to continue their season, can compete at the "state meet" on the 26th.

Anyone have an info on if the Tri-Valley Track Champs meet results will be loaded into Milesplit. https://ca.milesplit.com/meets/432440-tri-valley-track-and-field-championships-2021/results/752881/raw#.YLar-pNKj0p

They don't seem to be showing up even though the text version of them are in there. Currently you can't use those marks to register for the Nor-Cal meet.

I will make sure they are entered. Thanks for pointing that out.

What is the meet on the 26th?

Those results should be on MileSplit now.

The information for the meet on June 25th/26th is at this link:

This is not a Nor Cal Championship. The “State Championship” that Rich Gonzales is promoting is not the real state meet. These are post season meets like Golden West. That is all.

Track has never gone this late. I am sure that especially for CCS athletes, most will be happy to compete at the CCS finals on the 19th and call it a season.
