Boy that picture brings back some great memories of those young men who are clearly visible. From left to right, Schroeder, Phanse, Middleton, Livingston, White, Scomparin, and Bennett. I think I can even make out Charvett behind Scomparin. Watching many of those guys battle it out for the last three years was a treat. Good luck in your college distance careers Schroeder, Phanse, White, and Bennett. It was an absolute pleasure to watch.

@12:21 Thanks for the kind words, it's humbling to think of the number of people we as runners share our journeys with. I'll extend the thank you to anyone who's ever been a supporter of the sport. Seeing all the friendly faces and hearing all the cheers elevated my experience to something I could never have imagined. I know my teammate and I are going to be moving onto a new chapter but we'll always be Gaels for life.

Thanks for chiming in Adrian. I know a lot of coaches would have loved to have you on their team.

Best of luck to you in college.

As the father of the one attending Chico State, I can tell you that the sport of distance running brought us so much closer as father and son. Thank you Albert for this blog, Dylan and I would spend many a day or night looking at the posts and discussing running tactics, strategies, and race results. He had the upmost respect for those he ran against, but in particular those mentioned above.
