The Sentinel failed to mention the greatest ambassador to the sport of HS XC & TF on top of her achievements. An amazing role model to kids everywhere. I've written the CCS an email for Mari to receive the CCS Sportsmanship Award. I've been a huge fan of hers since sophomore year. There are many untold stories about Mari such as her helping Charlotte Tomkinson to brush off after her huge spill at State Finals and many others. We will be cheering for you Mari & best wishes again as a Beaver! Thank you for all you and Coach Greg do for our sport!
