Central Coast Section (CCS) Track and Field Preview

You can check out my preview posted on Milesplit CA at this LINK. All the favorites and leading contenders are posted for running events. Feel free to add anybody that should be mentioned in the preview. Who are the strongest favorites to win CCS? Who will score the upset victories? What is the most competitive event?

Also, feel free to vote in the poll to the right on who you think will win the most events at Friday's final. That includes relays.

Nice preview. Gordon MacMitchell (meet record holder for the boys 3200m) attended Gunn rather than Paly.

Thanks for catching that. At least I had the right city. The preview is now complete with all running and field events.

Actually, Gordy did attend Paly ('72 track) but ran for Gunn in '71 track and '73 track - where he set his CCS record.

"Caice Lanovaz won the Arcadia Invitational Heptathlon and has competed in 11 out of 16 possible events this season."

Which events has she not contested? I'm guessing 1600, 3200, PV, DT, and...? What a talent. It's fun to watch her compete.
