Double CCS Champions on two tiebreakers!

Not often that I get to mention the kids I coach but today was certainly one for the scrapbook (do people still do these?). Anyways, we ended up winning CCS in both boys and girls in Division V with the 6th man tiebreaker for both races. I heard from a lot of coaches and nobody could recall that ever happening before at a section final. It was certainly very exciting and I experienced a lot of emotions after both races. They didn't figure out the girls official final for a while. Then we were told that we lost by 2 after the boys race (unofficially) before it showed up on my phone that we had actually won.

As some of you know, Craig Virgin (below in red) spoke at our school on Thursday and after both races, he said that he now has more material for his next talk about the importance of the 6th and 7th runners.
