Early Saturday report from Mt. SAC

Report from NMC coach Ibarra that Sarah Baxter ran 16:00 which is amazing.  Her reported splits for the 2.93 mile course is 5:06, 5;39 and 5:15.

I can't access results at the moment so any other notable performances?

My son ran this morning and he said that they were having problems with the clocks. The clock at the mile mark was blank, when he finished, the clock was still reading times from the previous race, and that when they left the venue at 10am, no times had yet been posted.

Race 14 was pretty outstanding, Miramonte took a 1 2 3 sweep with their 4 and 5 not far behind. They could be a real contender for the section championship and a solid finish at the state meet.

Delaney White, freshman at Santa Rosa High School, was 4th in her race with a time of 18:15. The only SRHS runners ever faster than that were Julia Stamps and Trina Cox.

St Joseph Notre Dame boys came in 2nd in D5 Sweepstakes. The race mis-scored SJND's 3rd runner (counting him 25th instead of 13th), so their problems on Saturday seemed to start on Friday. They have been notified - we'll see if they fix the official results. Guess it happens even to the best.

The unofficial results for the boys team sweepstakes has Bryan Fernandez at 14:34, moving him into the all-time top 10 list.
