Reminder of live results link for Stanford Invitational

http://www.rtspt.com/events/stanford/xcinvite11/

What teams really made a statement today with their performance?  How about individuals?  Who is going to be ranked in the top 10 at State after their performance today?  Anybody want to take a shot at posting the top 10 teams in Northern California overall regardless of division?  Who are the top 10 individuals (boys and girls)?

Let the conversation begin.

Carrie Verdon, Fahy, and especailly Luna, all had great races. I think this race cleared up any speculation about him not running over the summer. Redwood boys really stood out this race too. and once again Campolindo somehow DESTROYS the rest of the field.

Oakridge High (SJS) Girls in Div 1 race placing second - and a fairly close second - to #4 state ranked San Clemente. Lots of questions about Oakridge girls team as this season started after losing 4 seniors from last years team. The team now consists of 2 seniors, 2 freshman and 3 sophomores - with two members running at Stanford after just recovering from injuries and 4 members running their first ever 5k varsity race at Stanford.

Bella Vista (SJS) Boys and Girls.

Boys teams defeats #10 Woodcreek for 1st place in D2 race and shows they could possibly take the D2 Section title in November.

Girls team takes 2nd place in D2 race with 4 juniors and 1 freshman in scoring positions. Very young team with potential but will have to contend with Woodcreek in their Section.

Vista Del Lago (SJS) girls show they belong in the State D3 Top 10 rankings with a 2nd place finish in D3 race. This is WITHOUT standout Clare Carroll running. Who knows how good this team will be with Carroll in uniform.

Agree with the Bella Vista and Vista Del Lago "props." Madeline Ankhelyi of Vista Del Lago is a very strong runner who for some reason does not seem to get the recognition she deserves.

Interview with Madeline Ankhelyi will be posted sometime this week as well.
