CCS pre-season rankings by Valley Christian SJ coach Josh Small will continue this Tuesday (girls) and Thursday (boys).

The NCS Division II pre-season rankings will be posted on Wednesday.

I am also open to ideas to what else you would like to see on this site.  Feel free to make your suggestions in the comment section below.

HOW about some Sac JOaquin Previews preferably Division 4. With defending champs Ripon possibly facing D3 winners Sonora if the CBED's shape up that way should be good.

How about Coaching rankings. Rank the top coaches in CCS, Nor Cal, etc.! Put them under the pressure cooker for once!

I second the coaching ranking!

Coaches make programs. If the team is good year in and year out, the coach is a good one. In xc this is always the case.

A good team doesn't always make a good coach...and a good coach doesn't always make a good team.

I know great team with coaches who have no plan and just simply have talent. A coach is only as good as the talent and dedication of the runners.

That said... I think we need to have a list of some good coaches in the area, no matter how good or bad their team is. What makes them good? Are they good at planning training? Putting in the time? Good motivators?

Lets here it...who is a good coach and why?
