CCS Top 8 Entries posted

http://www.dyestatcal.com/ATHLETICS/TRACK/2011/top8_ent.doc

Now we can start to make some predictions on best races and times based on who is entered.  What is going to be the most competitive race?  Any predictions on the times of the distance races?  Who is going to be the star of the meet?

that varsity boys 1600 is gunna be killer, itll be interesting to see if anyone breaks 9 in the 3200 - a lot of Bells in that race.

Girls mile is loaded too. If the pace goes slow (2:33+ at half) Hiltz will win it... like she did against CCS runners at Stanford. Maxwell or Sturges will need to take it out 2:28 or under and then make their move 3rd lap if they want a chance. Sturges won CCS that way last year, we'll see if she can do it again. But my bet is on the Hiltz sit and kick.

Is anyone willing to take the kick out of the kicker? We'll have to wait and see but if they do, it will be a great race!

From a thread below:

From Kevin Bishop-I can confirm that I will be running the 3200 only at top 8, and also me and Donald and Will Geiken are going to make a sub-9 attempt.

Way to step up Kevin. I can't wait!

Sturges is running 800, not 1600

That would be so tight if they work together to try to break 9:00. Best of luck to them.
