According to my ranking charts, the following marks are considered the best of all the leading marks from the above list. In order of strength:

Boys
Hammed Sulemad 12 Deer Valley Triple Jump 50'3"
Rob Simmons 12 Rocklin Pole Vault 16'1"
Oliver Dash 12 Castro Valley 100m. 10.63
Dante Thomas 11 Fairfield 110m. Hurdles 14.30
Tom Blocker 12 Jesuit 400m. 48.84
Dan Mitchell 12 Del Campo 3200m. 9:09.68

Girls
Alitta Boyd 12 Moreau Catholic Triple Jump 41'7.5"
Chalese Davis 10 Hercules 100m. Hurdles 14.29
Kiersten Dolbec 12 Saratoga High Jump 5'8"
Lindsay Machado 12 El Dorado Discus 135'2"
Strangenae Campbell 10 Pinole Valley 100m. 11.74
Chizoba Okodogbe 11 Deer Valley 400m. 54.57
Jackie Alhoo 12 St. Mary's (Stockton) Shot Put 44'10"

Any other marks that belong with the group above? Are the two triple jump marks the best marks for Northern California athletes?

Both of these were from Arcadia.

I would think that George Atkinson of Granada would be on the list with a wind legal time of 21.56 in the 200m. I believe it ranks him in the top 20 in the country.

Kevin Griffith of San Ramon could be on there with his 800m in 1:54.12.

Thanks for those adds. I need to go back and check on the missing marks from those lists.

I was reading earlier that the James Logan triple jumper, Ciarra Brewer, jumped a wind legal 42'1.5" which would put her #1 on the list.

Keep posting marks that are missing from those lists.

what chart is used to compare the relative performances?

I have a chart that is a bit dated (got it from past San Mateo HS coach Don Dooley) but it gives a point value to all the events (including field events) so that you can compare.

I will have to dig locate it on my computer and if you are interested I can send it to you. Email me at albertjcaruana@gmail.com
